Someday I'm going to:
Run a half marathon by: topher
I`ve always been a keen runner, and so my aim is to get training for my local town`s half marathon which is early next year (2010). I`m going to think hard about a charity I`d like to run for, and hopefully raise a bit of money while having fun!

topher(998 Days ago)I`ve been running on a regular basis with two friends. Just around my housing estate, but it`s nice to get out and get some fresh air.

Though I`m not pushing myself in these runs, more just doing it for the social factor and to motivate them, it`s all helping to get me fitter, and thus make my training easier... well here`s hoping.

topher(989 Days ago)My running is certainly improving! Since starting running a few weeks back, I`ve been continually improving on each run. I have no idea what is a good mile time, but my latest run last night was 6 minutes and 56 seconds...

I`ve been wondering, but maybe it`s just because my times are improving and I`m only doing a short distances, whether I`ll be able to sustain long distance running. Since early on I`ve always been a sprinter, competition at school in the track events. Now I`m questioning whether a sprinter is always a sprinter.

I guess once I`ve completed the easier route 20 times and I move onto something harder, and then harder after that, I might wipe away these questions. I hope as much anyway!

topher(921 Days ago)This has taken a back seat! I`ve been incredibly busy with work and going away, so now that I am back home I can get into a routine again and work on my goal towards running a half marathon!Flag as Inappropriate

What is mySomeday.com Close
mySomeday is designed to help you achieve those goals and dreams you’ve always said you’d get to ‘Someday’. It was born from a universal truth; everyone has ‘somedays’ they want to realize. It was designed to address a universal reality; life, laziness or lack of know-how makes achievement elusive. ‘Plans’ are meant to address this gap between truth and reality. Whether you build your own original Plan or copy and customize an existing Expert or Community Plan, this detailed roadmap is meant to get you from start to finish. With a Plan, you can track your progress, set reminders and deadlines, get feedback from the community and much more. In addition to Plans, we hope that all of the elements of the site and the social connections that spring up will take people from idea, to plan, to partnership, and, ultimately, to achievement.
