  • img_bedroom: hang pictures on the walls of things that make you feel good about yourself when you see them, or otherwise make you happy. flattering black and white photos? get on it! an illustration ripped out of a nancy drew mystery? check! a letter from a friend that tells the world, hey, world, i have a friend? take it there!

  • img_find places to fit the massive amount of clothing you have accumulated from the various thrift stores of the northeast, and purge where you can, but don't get rid of anything with sequins. my bedroom is 7' by 10'. i had to use a bookshelf and a clothing rack in the hallway, a vintage suitcase in the bottom of my closet, a set of narrow dresser drawers, some bigger drawers, and some hatboxes, but you'll have to pry anything bedazzled from my cold dead hands and yes, i think i have finally made room for everything.

  • img_kitchen: because of mouse possibilities, everything has to be stored in either glass, plastic, or metal- but the containers need to be aesthetically pleasing, labeled, and have openings that accommodate whatever size measuring implement you use with it. so right now all of my flours are in impractical glass jars that can't fit a one cup measure, and i keep spilling flour all over myself and the sink whenever i make bread, and it gets all gross and gooey in the sink, and i become surly.

and by possibility i mean my roommate and i had to trap one in a bucket in our bathtub the other day and that's a pretty sad way to live your life. shame.

  • img_living room: we keep saying we're going to build a banquette. this keeps not happening. also, neither of us know how to build a banquette or have ever built furniture...but we need somewhere to eat, and our idea of a bar/eating counter isn't working, because the counter is covered with kitchen appliances and mail, and failure.

  • img_living room: our bar is not fully stocked. i want to be don draper in my own mind, except a lady don draper, but not with mannish features, just in that he always has a sweet bar set up and plenty of old man drinks a-flowing. i make my own liqueurs...i need to make the essential bar liqueurs and then go buy the bar staples, don't i?

  • img_living room: i need to maximize the available growing space in the plant window, since it has a southern exposure, and these plants need to be in aesthetically appealing, self watering/sub irrigation planters for water and time efficiency (except some of the herbs that need a little toughness to bring out their best qualities..weirdly abusive, herbs).

  • img_craft room: i don't even know where to begin. how did i end up with so much shit, and where can it all go? i'd love to be able to rent it out on occasion to people who need a place for a month or two and don't have that much stuff. the sewing machine would have to stay in there, as would the plants in the window and the fabric (this is organized, fabric store style, on improvised bolts made out of cardboard pieces), but maybe some of it could go elsewhere?

What is mySomeday.com Close
mySomeday is designed to help you achieve those goals and dreams you’ve always said you’d get to ‘Someday’. It was born from a universal truth; everyone has ‘somedays’ they want to realize. It was designed to address a universal reality; life, laziness or lack of know-how makes achievement elusive. ‘Plans’ are meant to address this gap between truth and reality. Whether you build your own original Plan or copy and customize an existing Expert or Community Plan, this detailed roadmap is meant to get you from start to finish. With a Plan, you can track your progress, set reminders and deadlines, get feedback from the community and much more. In addition to Plans, we hope that all of the elements of the site and the social connections that spring up will take people from idea, to plan, to partnership, and, ultimately, to achievement.
