I`m skilled in many areas including Event planning/PR, i`ve produced, have done my friends quickbooks for small business, sales, coordinated behind the scenes fashion shows...all of this temporarily in my search to find a stable job...ideally now i want to be working for a PR firm in Miami or New York while working on a business plan to open my own internet cafe.
I`m just having a hard time finding a job HELP! :-/

Have you tried searching on career sites?
The best way to find a job now are through your connections connections.
Meeting new people is not a bad idea either.

Hey keep ur head up high..don`t lose hope. Online might help. Check out indeed.com or simply hired.com.
Also I feel the best way to get a job is to tell EVERYONE you know that u are looking for a job because some might think you are completely happy with your current temp work. NETWORK...try to as much as possible. Good Luck.

Are you on LinkedIn? If not you should definitely sign up. It is a great way to get your experience noticed. Once you have set up your profile (Make sure it`s at 100%), then start joining groups. There are a lot of groups in this area. Also participate in the Answers section. They have a whole section on Events and Conference planning. You can quickly start to respond to people who have questions and also ask questions. It is a terrific way to Network. Let me know if I can help.
