Someday I'm going to:
Loose 55 pounds and get back in shape by: jslsurf
Between getting divorced and being under-employed for the last three years, I`ve really let myself go. I weighed myself this morning, and I`m 265 pounds. If I loose a pound a week, I could be back to 210 in just over a year.

globehound(880 Days ago)I`m in the same boat. Trying to shave a few extra pounds that I gained in my 30-somethings. I`m putting together a plan that I think I can stick to. You might want to check out Niki`s plan, it worked for her.

jslsurf(868 Days ago)Globehound,

Thanks for the comment. I did check out Niki`s profile, and was suitably inspired. I need to join a tean or find a workout buddy.

jslsurf(863 Days ago)First few days on Weight Watchers, and I`ve been great about tracking my food intake. Alas, not so great on the exercise front. Going to get up tommorrow and start the day with some weight training, or a walk of it`s not too nasty outside.Flag as Inappropriate

jslsurf(859 Days ago)First week on the diet and I had some sucesses and some disapointments. I really increased my physical acctivity, and I was great about sticking to the plan most days, but I binged on the weekend. I only lost half a pound for the week. Better than gaining weight, but I`ve got to be better about staying on the diet, because five minutes with a Snickers Bar can undo a week`s worth of working out.Flag as Inappropriate

suko(852 Days ago)Yeah. Just remove the candy, its loaded with artificial nonsense that you don`t want to put in your body anyway. And stay active, even if that means walking up and down flights of stairs or doing some pushups and situps in the a.m. Keep up the good work!Flag as Inappropriate

globehound(429 Days ago)I`m working through a similar plan. Just be consistent and you`ll be surprised how quickly you start to see results. Make doing some form of exercise 3x per a week a first-level priority, as important as brushing your teeth or eating a meal.Flag as Inappropriate

jslsurf(429 Days ago)The good so far: walked some steep hills twice this week and lifted weights once. Bad news: have not been tracking my food consumption and binged yesterday. Still, down a pound this week, and ther`s still 4 days until my next weigh in!Flag as Inappropriate

globehound(353 Days ago)I`ve been practicing/playing so much golf I`ve gotten off track a bit. But planning on getting back on track this weekend/next week. No tournaments for a while so it will give me that chance. Keep on it!Flag as Inappropriate

jslsurf(314 Days ago)Current weight: 244.2 lbs. I`ve got a new girlfriend who owns to dogs. She takes them on long walks in the woods. I try to keep up. Also, I now work for a Farmers Market, so I get great produce, and for two day out of the week, I`m outside in the heat standing all day. I`m getting a great tan as welll!Flag as Inappropriate

jslsurf(172 Days ago)Broke up with girlfriend. Miss her dogs and the long walks in the woods, but don`t miss the angst. Down to 236. This week, I discovered a pair of jeans that I bought years ago and never wore because they were so tight I couldn`t close the top button. Now I fit into them without sucking in my gut. It`s a great feeling.Flag as Inappropriate

What is mySomeday.com Close
mySomeday is designed to help you achieve those goals and dreams you’ve always said you’d get to ‘Someday’. It was born from a universal truth; everyone has ‘somedays’ they want to realize. It was designed to address a universal reality; life, laziness or lack of know-how makes achievement elusive. ‘Plans’ are meant to address this gap between truth and reality. Whether you build your own original Plan or copy and customize an existing Expert or Community Plan, this detailed roadmap is meant to get you from start to finish. With a Plan, you can track your progress, set reminders and deadlines, get feedback from the community and much more. In addition to Plans, we hope that all of the elements of the site and the social connections that spring up will take people from idea, to plan, to partnership, and, ultimately, to achievement.
