2 Cheers
Someday I'm going to:
Move into NYC by: lexasaur
I have lived a very nomadic life, so while it made sense to move home and get adjusted, its time to move on. Plus, an 1hr40min commute is rough.

  • img_figure out where to move to in the city. this will prolly be in brooklyn unless i can find a sweet deal; i don`t know the neighborhoods very well though, and everyone has a different opinion, so this will probably be harder than i`m anticipating. also, fitting in looking at places when you live in another state and work somewhat odd/ridiculous hours will be interesting.

  • img_get things back from my ex`s apartment upstate. he most notably has my zebra and bed, but its a 3-hour drive and i really have nowhere to put them in my parent`s house, so he said it was cool if i left things there. that will, though, require over 6 hours of driving in one day, and seeing him for the first time in many, many months; oh yes, not awkward at all.

lexasaur(1927 Days ago)omg ur rightttt! you guys should add a section where you can talk about how the step ended up or whatever...like the addendum to my `find a roommate` would be `i ended up finding 3 people hooray!`. or does it already work like that. i dunno. stefan is pissing me off.Flag as Inappropriate

suko(1454 Days ago)I`ve been working on a similar goal and find this goal plan really helpful. When did you finally achieve this goal? Any tips for someone with a similar goal.Flag as Inappropriate
lexasaur
lexasaur(1451 Days ago)hey suko! for me, i was moving somewhere that wasn`t TOO far away from where i lived, and i would go out with friends from new york city a lot. i think going out and getting to experience what it was i had to look forward to helped me buckle down and take care of the harder parts! it`s not impossible, but definitely difficult to save up, but just know that the satisfaction of saying youre going to do it and then dropping your first bags at your new place, is SO WORTH IT!Flag as Inappropriate

What is mySomeday.com Close
mySomeday is designed to help you achieve those goals and dreams you’ve always said you’d get to ‘Someday’. It was born from a universal truth; everyone has ‘somedays’ they want to realize. It was designed to address a universal reality; life, laziness or lack of know-how makes achievement elusive. ‘Plans’ are meant to address this gap between truth and reality. Whether you build your own original Plan or copy and customize an existing Expert or Community Plan, this detailed roadmap is meant to get you from start to finish. With a Plan, you can track your progress, set reminders and deadlines, get feedback from the community and much more. In addition to Plans, we hope that all of the elements of the site and the social connections that spring up will take people from idea, to plan, to partnership, and, ultimately, to achievement.
