Someday I'm going to:
Visit People I know in Canada by: JoeSomebody2
I`ve always wanted to go to Canada, even before I knew some fellow people that live there. Funds, time, and life in general keep setting me back, but I hope to actually try it, and even give someone an intended gift. It`s been sitting so long!

  • img_start saving up money for the trip, either by working more, cutting corners, selling stuff, or finding another means to bring in the necessary income.
Step 1: Start saving up money for the trip, either by working more, cutting corners, selling stuff, or finding another means to bring in the necessary income.5
  • img_research how much the trip to canada would cost, especially if i'm going to be visiting people known in the canada area (that's one large country). calculate distances, prices of gas and repairs, hotel stays, gifts and foods to be bought, etc.
Step 2: Research how much the trip to Canada would cost, especially if I'm going to be visiting people known in the Canada area (that's one LARGE country). Calculate distances, prices of gas and repairs, hotel stays, gifts and foods to be bought, etc.3
  • img_let people in canada know i have intention of seeing them at some point, and see if they are willing to partake in the journey of planning.
Step 3: Let people in Canada know I have intention of seeing them at some point, and see if they are willing to partake in the journey of planning.1
  • img_find a proper means to travel to and through canada. if by car, make sure it can make the trip and not breakdown. if by plane, make sure you understand how the flight system works and see if the funds can afford it (along with finding a means of travel once in canada).
Step 4: Find a proper means to travel to and through Canada. If by car, make sure it can make the trip and not breakdown. If by plane, make sure you understand how the flight system works and see if the funds can afford it (along with finding a means of travel once in Canada).4

JoeSomebody2(688 Days ago)Well...I think I need to start to get the semblance of funds for such a venture, because even a a few days trip tends to kill me in the wallet. So the goal before this goal would be to find a proper means to get a gain on profit, cut spending, and other such things. THEN planning for a trip can begin. ;)Flag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(643 Days ago)Summer is the killer of funds, so there will be no trip planning save to where I can really go within a 1 or 2 hour drive. You`d think I`d be planning to go to Minnesota first to see a friend before going to Canada, right? Then again, Canada trip can also include Minnesota trip in the drive, so... *shrug*Flag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(443 Days ago)So, what`s to say about this? I barely have enough funds to live my life as it is, so even considering the idea of going to another country to visit people I`ve never met in person before just doesn`t make a whole lot of sense. Sure, need a vacation once in awhile, but I need a home before any of that can come about. Current goal in the mind. ;)Flag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(412 Days ago)The issue of finance is ever my bane. Looking over the numbers of what I gained and spent, and doesn`t make me happy. Will need a new business model for my life. :(Flag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(390 Days ago)It`s official, and I`m getting a new job...shame that I don`t know what it is yet. I`m excited though, and looking forward to something new.Flag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(366 Days ago)New job is no where in sight, though it`s a hopeful world up ahead. At least I`ll have the time to get a lot of the things done I`ve been wanting to? *shrug* It`s a start. :)Flag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(283 Days ago)Got a job, though it`s not something I think is going to work. it`s better than unemployment at least, so boom goes the dynamite. will be looking into the market while I work the numbers out with this new job soon enough. Hope I tell you! It`s going to be fulfilled!Flag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(255 Days ago)Did the numbers. Still need to keep looking! In other news, Canada got a little more awesome via Hobo with a Shotgun. Was filmed in Nova Scotia, and DAMN was it good! Not everyone`s cup of tea, but it`s a well made film all the same.Flag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(239 Days ago)Doing an extreme cut and heading back to my roots. Market here either isn`t ready for me, or I`m not ready for it. Whichever it is, will be doing my best to build up capital at home. Back at square one financially.Flag as Inappropriate

What is mySomeday.com Close
mySomeday is designed to help you achieve those goals and dreams you’ve always said you’d get to ‘Someday’. It was born from a universal truth; everyone has ‘somedays’ they want to realize. It was designed to address a universal reality; life, laziness or lack of know-how makes achievement elusive. ‘Plans’ are meant to address this gap between truth and reality. Whether you build your own original Plan or copy and customize an existing Expert or Community Plan, this detailed roadmap is meant to get you from start to finish. With a Plan, you can track your progress, set reminders and deadlines, get feedback from the community and much more. In addition to Plans, we hope that all of the elements of the site and the social connections that spring up will take people from idea, to plan, to partnership, and, ultimately, to achievement.
