Someday I'm going to:
Weigh under 200 pounds by: JoeSomebody2
I`ve always grown up the fat kid. Ridiculed with hurtful words, and even called an ogre. I once had a decent figure due to work, but have since fallen back into old habits. I want to gain back what I know I had, and then some.

Step 1: Stop eating the free food from work! Sure, it's free and delicious, but it's also unhealthy. Note that this step can also include other crap fast food places, so pay attention!2

JoeSomebody2(708 Days ago)The jogging is going well, have been pressing it for the past week. I`ve already noticed I`m running farther, faster, and longer than every previous day. I knew there would be some changes if I stuck to it, but WOW! :DFlag as Inappropriate
JoeSomebody2
JoeSomebody2(688 Days ago)Need an exercise that will challenge the stamina I`ve gained from the jogging. Any ideas? :oFlag as Inappropriate
JoeSomebody2
JoeSomebody2(643 Days ago)Okay, so it would seem I`m slipping a tad? Remove a step I shall...BAH!!!

So what is it about keep on keeping on that I don`t get. I slip up and let things go. I suppose the big shock of my life some months back got to me a little, but it REALLY shouldn`t matter (that) much anymore. I don`t know. Best keep the focus and work like no one`s business...all while maintaining personal relations of course. Don`t want to be all work and no play. :P

JoeSomebody2(574 Days ago)Quite shameful that all the progress I`ve gained is lost. Over 220 again, and I have lost track of some of the goals I set for myself. Need to try and touch on them again...for great justice. :PFlag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(548 Days ago)Gotten addicted to snacking in the car at work. This does not bode well... :oFlag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(539 Days ago)Snacks are toning down some. So it`s getting there...Flag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(524 Days ago)Had to be honest with myself and "red light" a step, as I am not a little under 220 pounds anymore. Shame. Double shame now, because I broke my toe and can`t really do exercise that`s extensively on my feet. Will work it out...Flag as Inappropriate

duhwitt(523 Days ago)Change your mindset! So you had a relapse. Are you going to say "screw it" and stop? NO! Keep eating healthy, and change your exercise. Have you considered working with a pilates ball? Work on your core strength if you can`t run because of your broken toe. SparkPeople.com has a lot of good exercises!Flag as Inappropriate
JoeSomebody2
JoeSomebody2(515 Days ago)Not giving up, and have begun to eat a little better (two days ago was just a phase...yeah). Suppose I could look into the ball as well, and have enjoyed it a bit on my own when it happened to be present (borrowing others equipment rocks!). Certainly need to do SOMETHING with this toe that now has no toenail. :o

And only clicked Step 8 green because I`m tired of how many emails I`m getting to let me know I should complete the step. I think I reordered the steps too much and bugged the system. :P

JoeSomebody2(497 Days ago)And being sick doesn`t help with better living either. at least my toe is all fixed up, and I can now start jogging once weather is comfortable (or I gain the stamina to muster the cold). Also began thinking my dollars as voting power: I pay for what I want the rest of the world to use at large. An interesting mindset to have while shopping, that is for sure.Flag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(478 Days ago)Due to some motivation from a group of fellows, getting my act together and learning a bit of focus and willpower, which will spread across all my other very desired goals: productive media creation, improved social life, and of course, healthier living. Just need to make sure I follow through with this. Coming up on the year make with this, and I`m back where I started. Worse? No idea. :(Flag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(454 Days ago)The gathering of self continues. Spent the day eating mostly rice, carrots and oranges. Sure, a small treat and pizza slices here and there, but coupled with the exercise and good eating of the last few days? Feeling great. Now I just need the sleep to keep me going. :PFlag as Inappropriate
JoeSomebody2
JoeSomebody2(443 Days ago)Every time I step on a scale I get depressed. Though I`m not letting it bother me that much. Past few days have been amazing, as I`ve taken a little initiative and played DDR after work (needed the stress reliever along with the athletics boost). May need to invest in a means to play DDR in my home soon, because $1.50 a day seems a little step for a little under 15 minutes of fun.Flag as Inappropriate
globehound
globehound(443 Days ago)I find it similarly challenging to stay consistent with respect to exercise but that is really the key. Just make it as important as brushing your teeth or eating a meal, literally. I`ve now made exercise a first-priority and no matter what, I find time. If it means not watching tv or surfing the internet, so be it. In the end, its really just a simple decision.Flag as Inappropriate
duhwitt
duhwitt(441 Days ago)I agree with globehound - consistency is important. You need to find a workout routine that`s enjoyable to you and something you can do with regularity. I`ll send you a message to follow up.Flag as Inappropriate
JoeSomebody2
JoeSomebody2(437 Days ago)I suppose it would be bad to mention that I have trouble keeping up with consistent teeth brushing as well. Sorry to disappoint in that regard. ;)Flag as Inappropriate
JoeSomebody2
JoeSomebody2(412 Days ago)Slowly losing pounds these past few weeks due to the diet I`ve given myself, and real proud of the fact. Shame I still haven`t quite coupled it with innovative exercise yet. Least I have the diet when it comes round. :(Flag as Inappropriate
JoeSomebody2
JoeSomebody2(390 Days ago)Did a bit of a yo-yo, but at least I caught myself and will begin to make the fix. Messed up sleeping and waking hours are being the killer, as is a mentality of negativity getting back to me. Getting back on track with cleaning up the room with intense purpose. :PFlag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(366 Days ago)Going to a Con later on this week, and I`m heavier than I was last year. Shame, because I`m sure the stress of the work will kick the heck out of me. Still, will be a nice boost to my system because I`ll be in good company throughout the week whilst my feet get blisters. Hopefully not. YAY! :DFlag as Inappropriate
JoeSomebody2
JoeSomebody2(352 Days ago)Con was good for me, and it gave my system a nice shock...though I just need to make sure it`s in a good directions from here on out. Finding myself sleepy at times when in comparison to con I wouldn`t even be finished till hours later. I`m coming to learn that energy and motivation can be very situational. ;)Flag as Inappropriate
JoeSomebody2
JoeSomebody2(307 Days ago)Started up the 100 push ups challenge. Just the start I need not only to build muscle, but burn up those extra calories I intake (even though intake is incredibly lower in respect to previous years). Huzzah. :DFlag as Inappropriate
JoeSomebody2
JoeSomebody2(283 Days ago)My diet is getting screwed, in that I can`t afford the "healthy route" I`d like to take, but I`m still on the threshold of a diet so much better than ones past. And yet I`m also on the threshold of 230 for awhile now, despite the exercise I`ve been getting. I`m not gaining muscle faster than losing the weight, am I? I know I have a more physically taxing job and all, but really?Flag as Inappropriate
JoeSomebody2
JoeSomebody2(255 Days ago)Got myself weighed yesterday. Under 230 finally? Again? I`ll have to wait a week to see if it`s consistent. ;)Flag as Inappropriate
JoeSomebody2
JoeSomebody2(239 Days ago)Not only under 230, but it looks like I`m under 220 as well. Will verify the next time I get myself onto a scale. Feeling grand, that I am. :DFlag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(204 Days ago)Been holding the 220 range for awhile now, so I`ll need to do the extra push to get things down.Flag as Inappropriate

JoeSomebody2(172 Days ago)We`re coming up on two years now, and now it`s the season to be a glutton. This can`t be good. :DFlag as Inappropriate
JoeSomebody2
JoeSomebody2(66 Days ago)Oy vay...sure, I`ve lost a bit via the hard work I put myself through, but it`s not enough. As it goes. All that really needs to be said in the now. :DFlag as Inappropriate
JoeSomebody2
JoeSomebody2(9 Days ago)Two things. One, I`ve begun jogging on a somewhat daily basis, getting me one step closer to my goal in the sense of gaining stamina for harder exercise. Two, I`m beginning to wonder if the muscle I`m building is overriding the fat being lost? Sure, there`s plenty more to lose, but diet has never been my thing, though I suppose it`s time to start.Flag as Inappropriate

What is mySomeday.com Close
mySomeday is designed to help you achieve those goals and dreams you’ve always said you’d get to ‘Someday’. It was born from a universal truth; everyone has ‘somedays’ they want to realize. It was designed to address a universal reality; life, laziness or lack of know-how makes achievement elusive. ‘Plans’ are meant to address this gap between truth and reality. Whether you build your own original Plan or copy and customize an existing Expert or Community Plan, this detailed roadmap is meant to get you from start to finish. With a Plan, you can track your progress, set reminders and deadlines, get feedback from the community and much more. In addition to Plans, we hope that all of the elements of the site and the social connections that spring up will take people from idea, to plan, to partnership, and, ultimately, to achievement.
