Someday I'm going to:
rid myself of Candida by: GavBelcher
Candida is an intestinal parasite that, if given the chance, can overwhelm the body`s defenses, destroy the balance of intestinal flora, and cause havoc with many of the body`s essential systems, from digestion to mental function.

GavBelcher(375 Days ago)Ate some soda bread yesterday. Figured it wasn`t so bad for Candida per se, though gluten doesn`t do me any good, because it was yeast free, but I went to bed absolutely wired. It turns out the bread, which I used to have regularly as my folks are keen for me to eat normal food such as bread and jump on any evidence ("Yeast Free" it says on the packaging, and I have often convinced myself it`s fine) that it might be good for me. So, I suppose I haven`t yet done a full day on the diet and will have to start from today, day 1, 29/08/09.Flag as Inappropriate

GavBelcher(364 Days ago)Had a couple of days of a couple of chunks of dark chocolate. They`ve been there for a couple of weeks so it`s not too bad, and I was definitely feeling better until then. Had a cup of tea the one day and felt terrible all day from it. I had forgotten how strongly caffeine affects me. Had some wine in a soup from a gluten & dairy free book when I wanted to try and make something different and vary my reportoire. All of these things had their effects and so I`m trying to get back on track now.Flag as Inappropriate

GavBelcher(350 Days ago)Drank some alcohol over the last couple of days and, in addition, I have been slipping into using eggs a lot more than I should given as it is one of the major triggers of autistic spectrum symptoms/ADD for many people and I am allergic to both egg white and yolk. I have made a lot of bread and used a lot of flour recently too, pancakes, gf-cf bread etc. And I have always thought this doesn`t do me much good, especially when I eat it with butter. Today I have been "flitful" - all over the place and unable to settle. After the alcohol I become physically tired, but mentally `spiked`. I had a decaf coffee today too. It ends up being the case that once I slip in one area, I tend to slip in others. My body craves other things too powerfully, and once I`ve lost it a little, I become restless and impulsive, I need to spend a long time cooking or I just grab something quickly wihout being able to talk myself out of it.. It seems too that I tend to be able to last two weeks, by the looks of the comments above. I then have to slip up and feel the consequences, and get angry at myself before getting back the motivation. Oh yes, and often a lapse or a loss of routine is involved. This week it was a funeral of a friend from years ago. Of course, I was upset from this too. I didn`t drink at the funeral but the day before and after.Flag as Inappropriate

GavBelcher(264 Days ago)A couple of vague slips here and there, but I`ve been more consistent than I have managed to be for years, and I`m feeling good for it. Getting die off symptoms here and there, with sleeping sometimes in the day and sudden bouts of tiredness, but all`s good. Currently following a kind of Specific Carbohydrate Diet as described in Natasha Campbell-McBride`s Gut and Psychology Syndrome.Flag as Inappropriate

What is mySomeday.com Close
mySomeday is designed to help you achieve those goals and dreams you’ve always said you’d get to ‘Someday’. It was born from a universal truth; everyone has ‘somedays’ they want to realize. It was designed to address a universal reality; life, laziness or lack of know-how makes achievement elusive. ‘Plans’ are meant to address this gap between truth and reality. Whether you build your own original Plan or copy and customize an existing Expert or Community Plan, this detailed roadmap is meant to get you from start to finish. With a Plan, you can track your progress, set reminders and deadlines, get feedback from the community and much more. In addition to Plans, we hope that all of the elements of the site and the social connections that spring up will take people from idea, to plan, to partnership, and, ultimately, to achievement.
