What are some tips for getting followers on Twitter? Has your opinion of your friends changed in a negative way as a result of their updates on Facebook?

Do you feel as though social websites infringe upon your freedom by preserving the right to keep (and possibly reuse) your photos and messages? Does that scare you or do you not care?

Personally I think users are willing to give way too much information on sites like Facebook. I prefer sites like this where the only information I give is related to something I`m actually trying to achieve.

yeah, I like facebook because it makes it easy to keep in touch with far away friends, but I HATE the idea that they reuse pictures and save my messages and that I don`t have control/the ability to delete pictures friends post of me on the internet. They are on there forever and I don`t have a choice.
I don`t have secrets, but I want to choose what I share and don`t share and when I want to delete something from the public eye or not, so this whole big brother world we`re getting into and everybody just accepts it, scares me...it just seems like most people don`t care, so I`m just curious to find out whether my assumption is true or not
