Someday I'm going to:
Finish Reading My Huge Book...in 13 Days by: Becs
Since I`m in grad school, I do a lot of reading but it can get pretty monotonous. So, I joined a book club & I love it because it allows me to read stuff outside of my field of study. I need to finish my book by our next meeting on April 7th
This is my plan | 100%

  • img_ so, the book i`m reading is 536 pages. i am currently on page…26. i have a ways to go before my next book club meeting on april 7th. here`s what the math looks like: 536 (all the pages in the book) minus 26 (the pages i`ve read) = 510 pages 510 (the pages i have yet to read) divided by 13 (the number of days until my next book club meeting) = 40 pages per day (roughly) so, if i can swing 40 pages a day, i`ll be in pretty good shape. although with everything else on my plate right now (work, school, internship, volunteering) this kind of looks easier than it sounds. but i think i can do it if i stick to this model!
Step 1: So, the book I`m reading is 536 pages. I am currently on page…26. I have a WAYS to go before my next book club meeting on April 7th. Here`s what the math looks like:

536 (all the pages in the book) MINUS 26 (the pages I`ve read) = 510 pages

510 (the pages I have yet to read) DIVIDED BY 13 (the number of days until my next book club meeting)
= 40 pages per day (roughly)

So, if I can swing 40 pages a day, I`ll be in pretty good shape. Although with everything else on my plate right now (work, school, internship, volunteering) this kind of looks easier than it sounds. But I think I can do it if I stick to this model!

Becs(1128 Days ago)The book was the Time Traveler`s Wife. I didn`t love it. I will keep you updated on our upcoming book club selections though Elle. The book before this one was Lolita and that I would highly recommend if you`ve not yet read it.Flag as Inappropriate

Elle(1100 Days ago)Becs. I`m afraid you and I have broken up over your lack of love for this book. I read it and bawled my eyes out! With that said, I do cry at the Biggest Loser, but still, I loved the book! Keep me posted on what you read next! (I`ll give Lolita a try.)Flag as Inappropriate

Becs(1099 Days ago)Hahaha, I`m so glad you liked it! Some of my very good friends loved this book (and also bawled at the end), so I understand how it can be appealing to some. It just didn`t resonate with me for some reason. We`re reading Siddhartha next and will be meeting in mid June if you want to join us! Enjoy Lolita, it can be dense but it`s beautifully written. It`s also a very sexy/scandalous read...which is always fun.Flag as Inappropriate

What is mySomeday.com Close
mySomeday is designed to help you achieve those goals and dreams you’ve always said you’d get to ‘Someday’. It was born from a universal truth; everyone has ‘somedays’ they want to realize. It was designed to address a universal reality; life, laziness or lack of know-how makes achievement elusive. ‘Plans’ are meant to address this gap between truth and reality. Whether you build your own original Plan or copy and customize an existing Expert or Community Plan, this detailed roadmap is meant to get you from start to finish. With a Plan, you can track your progress, set reminders and deadlines, get feedback from the community and much more. In addition to Plans, we hope that all of the elements of the site and the social connections that spring up will take people from idea, to plan, to partnership, and, ultimately, to achievement.
