I keep a list of states and countries I`ve visited as well in an Excel spreadsheet (travel geek alert!!!)
It also reminds me of Sufjan Stevens`s intention to write a music album about each state. (Talk about an endeavor!)Flag as Inappropriate

A4S4L4(355 Days ago)LOVE him. And I love that his 2nd state was IL and that there were so many songs to choose from, he had to do an IL outtakes album. His song "Chicago" is quite possibly one of my all-time favorites.

I had this idea about a decade ago that I wanted to live for a week in each state, documenting the people, wildlife and quirky places. And obviously keep a journal. And then put a book together. It would take just about a year, but would probably take a little longer cause I`d have to fly (or boat) to Hawaii and the drive up to Alaska would probably take a week in itself.
I actually still really want to do that. I only worry about how to fund it, but I could probably find people to let me couch-surf, which would take care of housing costs...
I feel a new Someday brewing... :-)
